About Dr Trisha Pinto
Dr Trisha Pinto grew up in Toronto, Canada and has special interests in Sexual Health, HIV Medicine, Women's Health, Paediatrics, Antenatal Care, Allergies and Mental Health.
She completed a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney, after first completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto. Before studying medicine, Trisha volunteered at a palliative care centre teaching balance exercises, while also working in her mother's GP clinic in Canada.
Trisha later backpacked across Australasia and fell in love with NSW during her travels. She has lived along the beautiful NSW coast for the last eight years. She has also completed additional training in Mental Health Skills Training, s100 HIV prescribing, s100 Hepatitis B prescribing and Clinical Teacher Training through the University of Sydney.
Trisha has completed a publication in penicillin allergy delabelling in conjunction with the Department of Allergy and Immunology at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney.
Outside of work, Trisha enjoys pottery, Pilates, dogs, and taking a swim with her surfboard — with the occasional successful attempt at standing on it.
Dr Trisha works Monday and Tuesday, and welcomes new and existing Kiama Downs Medical Practice patients to her care.
