Nursing Team
Fran, Megan, Amy and Jenny support patients with a wide range of nursing care and work closely with the GPs consulting at Kiama Downs.
They are an important part of day-to-day care at the practice, helping patients before, during and after GP consultations when nursing support is needed.
Reception and Administration
Amanda, Kim, Brianna, Michelle and Lauren make up our reception and administration team, helping patients navigate appointments and the practical side of receiving care at Kiama Downs.
They can help with bookings, messages, forms and other administrative questions, and help direct patients to the right person when something needs clinical attention.
Rachel is our Practice Manager and oversees the day-to-day running of Kiama Downs Medical Practice.
Teaching and Training
RACGP Accredited
Kiama Downs Medical Practice is an accredited general practice and is actively involved in medical education.
GP Registrar Training
GP registrars complete part of their specialist general practice training here, and medical students regularly spend time at the practice learning about medicine in the community.
Medical Students
Teaching keeps us connected with new ideas, encourages discussion between clinicians and helps support the next generation of GPs.
Practice and Community
Kiama Downs Medical Practice is a local general practice caring for people from Kiama Downs and the surrounding community.
We want the practice to feel personal and accessible, while maintaining high standards of medical care. Continuity matters to us, as does helping patients understand their health and making it easier to find the right care when they need it.
